Major Working Areas

Agriculture Development

Programme on agriculture development is on progress in two blocks of Araria District, supported by Agriculture Technology and Management Authority (ATMA).

Environmental awareness

Various Workshop and seminar has been conducted to create awareness on environment and their protection for the benefit of the community. Exhibition on Floriculture was organised to inform the poor community

Vaccination camp

Various vaccination camps has been organised in Araria and Forbesganj block, in consultation with the district health department to create awareness on Hepatitis-B, its effect, followed by the vaccination of Children & Adult.

Women Literacy Programme

Women literacy programme was conducted in collaboration with ZSS ( zillasakshartaSamiti),in 5 Panchayat of Forbesganj Block for three months, To provide Basic Education for creating awareness on the importance of education, women’s participation in the development of the community and the welfare of the family

Anti-human trafficking movement

seminar was organised for the various stakeholders (police Department, SSB, Ward member, Nagar Parishad, NGOs, Media, PRIs & intellectuals) of the society to create awareness on trafficking, their role and responsibilities. State consultant for UNICEF/DSW took the active participation in the seminar

HIV/AIDS awareness

HIV/AIDS awareness camp was organized in different places of Forbesganj and Araria by distributing leaflets, posters and also various skits and puppet show has been performed to make community aware about the AIDS and STD.
